Born in Florida in 1956, Philip Geiger earned his BFA from Washington University and his MFA from Yale, and taught art at the University of Virginia for over 30 years. A realist painter, he has had numerous solo exhibitions across the US and has been written up in the New York Times, Art in America, ARTNews, The New Criterion as well as many other periodicals.
