Magdalena Radulescu (1902-1983) was born in Romania and when she was 18 moved to Munich to study with Angerer, then to Paris to study at the Grande Chaumiere with Prinet and Boutet de Montvel. She first exhibited at the 1928 Venice Biennale and then in 1929 and 1933 at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris. She exhibited regularly throughout her life in France and Romania. She worked in the artists’ colony of Montparnasse along with Brancusi and Giacometti and died in Paris in 1983.
