Dan Cavaliere (born 1928) studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art (now University of the Arts) as did his father. During the Korean War he served as a combat illustrator and post-war he worked for an ad agency and his work appeared in the Today Magazine of the Philadelphia Inquirer. In 1989 he painted a 50 foot mural of Boathouse Row for the Rittenhouse Hotel. He was represented by Newman Galleries on Walnut Street, Philadelphia.
