Betty Sherman (1932-2022) was a Philadelphia artist and art teacher who studied at The Barnes Foundation and the Tyler School of Art. Betty was a much-loved art teacher at Springside School (now Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) for many years.

While at Tyler in the early 1970s she created a series of silkscreen prints, two are shown here, “Oran” and “Everlasting”. A limited number of these, and others in the series, remain available.
