Benjamin Eisenstat (1915-2001) was born in Philadelphia and studied at Fleisher Art Memorial, The Barnes Foundation and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He had 32 solo exhibitions and taught at the University of the Arts for 40 years. His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Woodmere Art Museum, the Michener Art Museum among others.
This painting came from the estate of Helen E. Scott of the Ardrossan Estate, Villanova.
